Kids Coloring Contest
Here is your opportunity to show off your artistic skills!! This contest is open to anyone ages 4-12 who wants to participate in an art contest. All participants will have the opportunity to compete to have your work appear on the T-Shirts of this year's Kid's Marathon T-shirts! You will also win $50 in cold, hard cash!!
Contest Entry Rules:
- The theme of the contest is the kid's marathon race whose proceeds go to help African kids and families.
- Contest is open to kids ages 4-12. You do not have to be a participant in the kid's marathon to compete in the art contest.
- All entries must be no larger than 9 by 13 inches. Any medium (markers, colors, paint, etc) may be used, but the background color should be white
- Entries will be judged by the marathon race committee. (Hint: Drawings look better on T-shirts if they have strong colors and heavy lines.)
- Contest Deadline is October 12. Entries must be received by then, not postmarked.
- By entering the contest, you are agreeing that if chosen, your entry may be used for marathon promotion and on the kid's marathon T-shirts.
To Enter the Contest:
Complete your artistic work. On the back or on a separate sheet of attached paper, include the following:
- Your first and last name
- Your parent or guardian's signature, indicating their permission for you to enter the contest
- Your home address
- Your home phone number
- Your email, if you have one
- Your age
- Your grade
- Your school name
You may either turn in your entries to the
Baxter County Library Children's Room by
October 12, 2005, or mail them (preferably in a large envelope to avoid fold marks) to:
