Registration and packet pick-up on race day is at Mountain Home High School beginning at 6 - 7:30.
Line-up at Mountain Home High School parking lot at 7:45. Race starts at 8 a.m. First half is hilly,
second half is flat. Shuttle service provided from finish line back to High School for a post-race
meal and award ceremony at 2 p.m.
Half Marathon Description:
Shuttle will leave at 7 a.m. to take runners to the half-marathon start at the 13.1 mile mark of the course.
Race starts at 8 a.m. The course has a 3/4 mile long downhill and then runs along the beautiful White
River where it's flat and fast to finish at the Denton Ferry RV Park. There will be some light refreshments
for the runners at the finish. A shuttle will take runners back to the High School for a post-race
meal and an award cermony that starts at 12 p.m. Massage therapists will be giving massages to the runners.
Awards for both presented 3 deep for every 10 years.Aid Stations:
Aid stations are approximately every 2 miles providing Powerade Sports Drink, water, pretzels, fruit, and various
flavors of Hammergel Energy Gel. Port-a-Johns will be at each aid station. Our aid stations are themed and the runners will vote on the best aid station again this year.
